Today

Just a short post about today before I continue with card writing.
Reached school around 7:20 as usual. Rainy Saturday morning, real pleasant. Camped outside GO as usual, waiting for it to open so that I can draw the key. Last time I needed to do that. Getting the key from the security tomorrow hehe. Practice was real relaxed. Mk was going easy on us, just running through the pieces and fixing up some parts. Neither Mr Tan not Mk tried making major "improvements" lah. I mean, we've practiced for months, I think what ever we play tomorrow will be what we worked for. No last minute grooming. Mk was right about the straight line graph, no exponential graphs. Which is good.
At around 2 Mk took the Sec 4s to the amphi, we sat down, ate food that Clare brought (thank you so much) and listened to Mk. He was reading to us his band practice diary entries lololol. Honestly, I couldn't connect to any of it. Simply because I was never a part of the junior band, that's why I don't have a very strong attachment to all the junior band stuff. But then again, I am not looking forward to tomorrow. To stepping down and to leaving band. Maybe because band has been, well, it was, very strongly, my only source of relaxation and enjoyment and happiness in that place. It really was. I used to look forward to band sooooooo much. And I guess that's the only thing that's holdin me back. Cos I didn't really understand why I felt so down about... Well... Leaving. O well. I like band. I like what I used to have with band. But that's really the past lah. Gosh the past and the way it haunts us.

Boarded and sat in the first seat of the bus. Y'know the one right in front of the door? First class view of the road. But I was thinking. So I wasn't concentrating in the road. And I dozed off. Reached SK and sat down. Eh I really like level one leh, good for days when I don't have to concentrate. The only bad thing is that there isn't much wind. As compared to level 4.

Kk time to hit the stack of cards just waiting to be written in.
